What happened to the Shoot The Bull thread?

Got up early and thought I'd sit on porch, and work on my other seat. Storms rolling in sounds like the Almighty is bowling in the heavens. A dove is sitting on a nest she built in one of the reefs on the porch, so I'll sit in the other swing. It sure is nice out. I can see a yellow iris peeking out of the iris bed.20180510_140312.jpeg20180510_140338.jpeg20180510_140709.jpeg20180510_140436.jpeg

That is what a canoe seat is supposed to look like.
I love irises. Ours are just starting at 5,000 feet.

That's a pretty healthy elevation. They say people that live in, and are active, in the higher altitude areas have better lung capacity. I think the Smokey Mountains park average around 5,000 ft. Makes the mountains here seem a little small now. I think Grandpa said his front porch is around 5,200.

Yes my wife loves the irises. We used to have a few different colors growing in there, but they died out. We had some black ones that were very interesting.

I'm on my last diagonal weave then all I have left is the border. I think I hit the 500 foot mark on my roll of plastic cane. This is my 3rd seat that I've weaved, the first one broke.
