    Canoe thoughts...

I have been serious about canoes since 1960. I have had a lot of them. I have only one left and it is for sale. Now I mostly run rivers in a drift boat. Very roomy, takes fast water, room for 3 dogs and a cooler.

    Ice Fishing

I tried ice fishing in Wyoming. The winters are long and the ice is safe. It helps to get out. We did a lot of x/c skiing. Ice fishing is a cold sport. Too much sitting and hanging out on ice with no wind protection. It is obvious why people build shelters.
