Grandma and I are in Utah visiting our daughter and family. We had to get our hugs from a couple of the greats. We're glad to be here because we got several inches of snow at home. Its May. They call it that because it May rain, it May snow, it May be calm or it May be windy. It may be 80 or it May be 20.

Today we took a Sunday drive along a section of the old Pony Express route. Although we passed the monuments and remains of four other stations here are some pics of the best, located in the west Utah desert.20200524_131740.jpg This is a replica building of the original station.

The route goes close to my house. There are lots of old Pony Express buildings in Nevada, but few of them have been resurrected. They are mostly crumbling mud and stone huts.
