So after many years of camping with a pop-up, I am back to basics with a Tent (Loving it), my question is when camping with the pop there where quite a few regional pop up clubs, they would basically get together a few times a year as a group, spring and fall rallies and such. These were good...

Wear knit beanie on your head while sleeping, also I have used a propane heater many times in the past...just make sure you have adequate ventilation and/or a carbon monoxide detector.

Realize this is an old post, but I just have to say Locust Lake is one of my favorite state parks for the same reasons.

Well...got the tent...actually found it locally for sale on Criagslist, used only once, got it for less then half the price of a new one....

Does anyone have any experience with the Trek Brand of tent, seems like a good tent, but have not ever seen or touched one, hate to buy unseen...thoughts

Anybody have any experience with the Trek line of canvas tents, wondering how they compare to the Kodiak Tents. Thanks....

Although this is an old thread...just have to add my 2 cents in...pheasant fingers, just like chicken fingers but different.

That looks like a great time...in my younger days that is the way me and my friends camped, however; now a days don't think I would enjoy it as much, although I am regressing...sold the pop up and in the process of buying a tent, perhaps I will go full circle in a few years.

Will keep this in mind...
