My brother in law is a peramedic and an outdoorsmen I wonder if he has done this training or would want to. Currently he is going through police offerer training right now.

They are all over Portland. They even have their own little village down there. Make their own little houses from what ever they can find. You see them on the side of the hwy or u der over passes, and just about every corner.

Yup, my little dome tent was folded in half. I really thought it was going to snap the poles in half. And always put the stakes in the ground.

My husband is 6'4 and he will not buy a tent he. can't stand up in. So needless to say our tents are always big and costly. But we are a family of five, plus a dog so we do kind of need the room.

A friend just tole me that bugs don't like onions and to plant them around the edge of your garden to help keep pests at bay. Does it really work, I have no clue but for next year can't hurt to try and plant the onions on the outside. Sorry have no advice for this year :(

Hmmmm I'm having dinner tonight with some friends and one of them is an eye doctor I think I shall ask what his thoughts are on this. Me personally though I would think that would do more damage then anything else.

We are learning more about wild mushrooms in hopes to start picking the wilds ones. But right now I still don't trust myself not to pick s bad one. Right now I'm collecting dandelions for making jam out of them, yum.

My family always tries to clear a little bit here and there on the trails we hike, like others have said if everyone would clear a little here and there then the trails would look great all the time for everyone.
