I think the trekking poles sound like a good idea too. We love to go hiking and sometimes feel a bit unsteady and are always looking around for a nice stick to use. Of course you can't always find one and these sound good to keep on hand.

Our weather has been beautiful here. It has been hitting near middle eighties. Of course that can change at the drop of a hat so we are just enjoying it while it last. :)

Sounds like that was a lot of trouble. I hope she got a good batch this time around. Is the place you got them from the only place in town? I don't think I would use them again unless they agreed to pick up the next batch that might be bad.

I have to go for an eye exam and they are going to dilate my eyes. Believe it or not, I have never had this done before. :tinysmile_hmm_t2: Glaucoma runs in our family and they say it is time to get this done to make sure I don't have any pressure going on. Any of you had your eyes dilated before?

I like to use charcoal most of the time. We do have a portable gas grill that we take for short trips when we know we will want to stop and cook up something. Works pretty good.

We've been hitting the eighties the past few days and sixties for the low in the mornings. It's been really nice and suppose to hold into next week. It's hard to believe that it's winter, even though we are in Florida.

We have used these before and they are great for kids rooms. You don't have to put a lot of holes in the walls with nails then repair it all later on. It's also easy to change up themes from time to time. :)

Oh wow, that is a bummer. I imagine that was part of the rules though. Some people just don't think sometimes. I'm wondering what kind of fishing tournament it was with a million dollar prize. Sounds like a lot.

I still see a lot of the older ones on the roads today. You probably should check your towing package on your car and check the weight of the Airstream you might be considering buying just to be safe.

I haven't seen that one yet. When exactly is on or is it just when ever you can catch it? Is it only on the PBS channel? Sounds interesting and wouldn't mind watching to see how I like it.

Glad I keep popping in here. :) I hadn't thought of making chili with deer meat. Sounds like it would be good. Also making a stew with lots of veggies in it over rice sounds delicious.

Wow, don't know if we are up to riding 25 miles yet. :) Maybe when we start getting better weather we can work up to that. We do have some nice bike paths around where we live so don't have to worry about a lot of traffic.
