I have to go for an eye exam and they are going to dilate my eyes. Believe it or not, I have never had this done before. :tinysmile_hmm_t2: Glaucoma runs in our family and they say it is time to get this done to make sure I don't have any pressure going on. Any of you had your eyes dilated before?

We've been hitting the eighties the past few days and sixties for the low in the mornings. It's been really nice and suppose to hold into next week. It's hard to believe that it's winter, even though we are in Florida.

We got each other some bicycles for Christmas and have managed to go riding a few times but this past week has been a rainy one. It looks like it is going to stay this way for another few days. Hopefully it will clear up soon and we can get on a regular routine. We need the exercise. :)

Well, it is the first and the start of a brand new year. I'm planning on going through the house room by room over the next week or so and getting rid of 'stuff' that we no longer need. In other words, we are decluttering! Hopefully it will stay that way. :tinysmile_hmm_t:

We use to do some quail hunting years ago but there just doesn't seem to be as many around as there use to. I just wondered if anyone here has noticed that also? Do you still hunt for them?

Enjoyed it all but glad it is finally over. We did all relax and enjoy the day and watched the kids play with the presents they got. Of course before you can blink it will be here again! :)

Just curious to hear what most of you are having for Christmas dinner? Going with the usual traditional turkey or ham? Or maybe something different? I think we are going for BBQ ribs this year. :)

We get some fresh mullet (saltwater) once in a while and are wanting to smoke some the next time we do. It's been a while since we've done this so thought I would check to see if someone here might have a simple recipe?

We have company coming to stay for a week and one of the things they want to do is fish. :) That we can do with no problem. :) We live near the Gulf and do a lot of salt water fishing. All we have to hope for now is some decent weather.

Was it a friend? Discover it on your own? Or maybe you can remember always camping with your parents? This was something I did really start doing until we had kids of our own. We just decided to give it a try and liked it. :) The rest is history.

Any one else here like to cook up a big pot of these with onions and ham and take along camping? They seem even better when the weather gets cool. :)

Well I finally rode on my first ATV the other day and it was kind of fun. :) I'm not much of a dare devil so it was just a nice casual ride to see some of the woods. But it was nice and just might do it again. :)

We are in the need of a little extra sleeping room at home for company that will be coming in soon. We are thinking of getting either a sofa bed or futon. We've never had a futon before so not sure how comfortable they are. Has anyone here had one and did you like it?

We generally saltwater fish most of the time but when coming back to the Marina we come through a nice river. So, the other day we decided to stop and do some catfishing. :) We got several nice ones and had them for supper. :tinysmile_fatgrin_t

Finally the weather is starting to cool down some. Not sure how long it will last but it is a sign of fall getting closer and I love to camp in the cooler weather, don't you? I'm not real crazy about freezing weather but the fall is always nice.

Do you ever do this? Just find somewhere that is totally out in the middle of nowhere and camp out there. And sometimes all my yourself or would you have someone with you. There are times when this sounds really nice, just no one around for miles and miles.

Well since I love to camp and the outdoors I am glad that I found this place. Looks like I might be able to pick up some good information here and other things related to outdoors. :)
