Crossbows

What is your thought on these? There seems to be a lot of talk lately. Some say they belong in with rifle season, while others say they belong in bow season. Bow hunters seem to think they do not belong in bow season due to crossbows being easier to use and requires less skill. Gun hunters argue that you still need to get up close and are still using an arrow or rather bolt.

What are your thoughts on this? Should the trim a little off of each season and make a crossbow season?

Well, I can see the argument from both perspectives. Personally I tend to side more with the bow hunters side of the argument, but a crossbow can not be classified as a rifle either.

As much as it may pain the bow hunting community, I think crossbows should be included with regular bow hunting.
