Something I really want to do someday (or at least be the passenger in the car, if possible) is ice driving. It is an activity offered at the Ice Hotel in Sweden, and sounds plain awesome!! Would you dare drive like this?

I don't know about that Sweden place but every one of my kids had to go out in the winter on the ice, and learn to cut a few cookies (didoos) and then steer back under control before I would let them get a drivers license. Drivers ed doesn't give them practical experience like that.

My Dad used to take us out to a large shopping mall parking lot when we were teen agers after a big snow. We learned how to steer with the right foot and how not to oversteer. It has been very helpful over the years. I remember an antelope hunting trip in WY during heavy rain and wet snow, with several people from out of state. I had to stop and wait for them a lot because they never learned the art of steering with the gas pedal.

Probably if I go there on my own. My wife is going to kill me if I do that.
