I was just wondering if we had any birdwatchers here on this forum. I had a teacher in the fourth grade who used to take us out to identify birds. I became very fascinated with it. Are there any other birdwatchers out there?

My dogs, a poodle and a chow/shepherd mix, both love the water. The would both rather swim along side the boat than ride in it.

I love ice skating but the only place to ice skate around me is on man-made rinks. I think I would be too afraid to try skating on a pond. I would always worry that the ice was not safe.

As long as my feet are planted on solid ground I'm fine. I know mountains are solid but you won't find me doing any mountain climbing or walking across swinging bridges.

Wow, I have always been cautious about camping in bear country. I have never heard of using electric fences before. It sounds like a great idea.

My son is 7 and he has decided that wet leaves are good for sledding without snow. We have a steep hill in our backyard that he sleds on every year. He was climbing the hill and slipped on some wet leaves. After sliding to the bottom, he got up went the the garage and got out his sled.

Fall is by far my most favorite time of year. I love the sights, sounds and feel of the season. Fall is definitely the best time of year for hiking.

The only reality show I ever watched was Survivor. The only reason I watched it was one of the contestants that year was from my hometown.

I have a tent that has a couple slits in the top. Not exactly sure how they got there. One is about 2 1/2 inches long. The other is 3 to 4 inches long. Is it worth trying to repair these types of tears or is it better to just replace the tent? The rest of the tent is still like new.

I never heard it compared to sleeping on the porch before. My porch has too many nosy neighbors. I do primitive camping to get away from it all.
