Absolutely. Properly wielded a person can be killed with a pencil or a coffee cup. It just happens that guns are designed in such a way as to make it much simpler to accomplish the task at range. But a gun is just a tool or a toy. And murder can be accomplished with a pitchfork or a frozen leg of lamb.

I guess it takes a big score for the media to report mass shootings. Or maybe they only report when the shooter is successful. We didn't hear about this Aurora, Co shooter. I wonder if it wasn't news worthy that a concealed carry stopped him before he could get a good start?

I don't think gun control is the answer for nuts like this guy. idiot control is what we need. i am sure that if this nut case couldn't have gotten guns and amo he woulda made a bomb or something which have the potential to be much more deadly. Guns aren't weopens of mass destruction. Ever see those terrorist using them?? NO, they strap bombs to stuff. a hot propane tank wrapped in chain coulda killed hundreds. In a weird way maybe the gun saved lives or else this nut woulda blew up the whole theatre.
