I miss my friend Fridge. He was a frequent poster here for a long, long time. He offered advice to new folks freely and patiently. His passion is backpacking and he always had room for a person new to the hobby on a trip he was on and gladly took them under his wing. He once loaned and carried a lighter tent for me for two days so that I could complete a Thanksgiving backpacking trip with a group of his friends. He is a Master backpacker like several of our folks here and a great person to know.
I am posting this to wish him a Happy 60th Birthday this July. I hope that he will return to OBC soon.
