What's your average biking trip?

I used to go on some pretty good biking excursions by myself for around 5 miles. I loved it and by going around state park trails I had such peace of mind and didn't have to compete with people.

My daily commute to work is ten miles each way.

One of my favorite road trips is from Phoenix to Wickenburg, AZ. I have done it four times so far. Very scenic and Wickenburg is loaded with history

Another one is simply going down I-17. It is legal to cycle on the shoulder once you are north of Phoenix. I have gone camping in Black Canyon City a few times and last Thanksgiving I cycled to Camp Verde and back. 180 mile round trip. Some spectacular sights along the way.

Wow 180 round trip is impressive. During most of the nice weather, about 6 months here, I ride 10 - 15 miles 2 - 3 times a week. I have done 40 miles a cpl. times and want to do more.

It feels great after you get done with those long rides and you sleep like a baby.
