    Bear Grylls Survival Kit

I don't know about the kit but I saw a video about the Bear Grylls Survivor Knife on youtube, apparently it works as long as you don't try to chop wood with it, which wouldn't be such a big problem if it weren't one of it's sails pitches.

    Deforestation and bushes.

I just hate areas where selective deforestation has occurred, it seems to fill the howl place up with bushes that make trekking through the area a huge pain in the backside.

    Reheating food?

I don't really mind either way, when I'm hungry I'm just happy I have some food on me. And when I'm hiking I mostly have food which I let's me eat and walk at the same time, heating it up would just make it harder to hold.

    Gear packing ideas?

I don't think anybody can give you an exact tip on how to pack the items, since we have no idea of figuring out each items size. One suggestion however would be to not haul a bunch of unnecessary things with you, you are just limiting the places you can access and might not get to enjoy the...

    Camping in other countries.

When I go abroad I usually sleep in a hotel, on the few occasions that I did pitch a tent in the middle of the wild was when I was on a three day trail. The only country where I know for sure that you can't setup a tent anywhere is Greece.

Thanks to the internet a quick internet search with hot springs and the name of the area you are visiting will answer your query. Generally even if you prefer more remote ones in an area where there is one hot spring you'll find others.

    Blisters, why?

I find that most of the time when I start getting blisters means, the inside of my shoes have started ripping up and it's time to throw them away. Of course you can always throw a band aid on the sensible area to keep it from getting blisters again.

    The Smells

The smell of the campfire usually reminds me of smoked meat, which is one of my favorite foods. Other than that what I usually enjoy is the fresh air, most to the time it doesn't even have dust in it.

    Climbing in bad weather?

When it's already pouring down it's almost impossible to climb, but I risked it a few times when it looked like the great flood's second coming and it only rained once. How about you guys and gals?

    Camping sites.

Do you revisit them every year or do you find a new place every time you go camping? I usually like new places, but some times I come across places that are too good to not revisit.

    Dead ends.

When you are out exploring you are bound to run into a dead end sooner or later in my opinion, that doesn't mean the trip you took there was a waste though, quite the opposite.

    Instant foods?

Well unless you make your own food like dinosaur said, you are pretty much stuck with the chemicals in my opinion, even than unless you grow your own stuff you can't be sure what the hell you are putting into your body.

    Greek festival

Gyros and Kebab, if you like meat you won't go hungry they also have a bunch of salads, thus the name Greek Salad, so you'd have a hard time going hungry.

    Floaties and a lifejacket

Guess it's all about how scared you are, but you should teach him how to swim as soon as possible so he can handle himself in which ever situation.

    Instant foods?

When I'm alone they make my life much more easier, make a small fire heat up some water and in five minutes you are ready for lunch. I especially find instant noodles very handy and tasty. What about you guys and gals?

    Ever been gold panning?

When I read the title, images of 40-50 year old prospectors all along the river came to mind, didn't think people still do this. Can't imagine myself having the patience for it.

    End of hike

Never found I need a pick me upper after a hike, while I usually carry extra food in case I decide to extend my trip I have never used it for an after hike boost.
