The old train bridge I fished alot years ago had "A " shaped pylons the cross bar when the water was average was about 5 or 6 feet hi\gh we rigged 2 coleman lanterns from a board with hooks we would put across the cross member so they could hang on both sides. We would then paddle to the bank and down a couple hundred yards to the marina had have a few beers. Long about 10 pm we would head back to those lanterns and slaughter them till we were out of bait. I have even caught em off of scraps I ripped from my tee shirt.
